People Spotlight – Meet Business Development Manager, Kevin lake

Since 2002, peoplevalue has grown from a team of one to a team of almost sixty. It’s the people behind the peoplevalue brand who make our business what it is today, which is why we’ve created this special blog series taking a closer look at the people who make up peoplevalue.

Say hello to Kevin Lake, Business Development Manager

Kevin’s been with peoplevalue since 2020, when it acquired Countdown Card, one of the UK’s best-known loyalty and rewards brands, which he ran for over 19 years. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the employee and member benefits business and has played a hugely valuable role in peoplevalue’s growth over the last two years. Today, over 1 million members of various UK organisations have access to peoplevalue’s shopping discounts platform, helping them to save money and push back against the current pressures on household budgets. Kevin cites his role in this achievement as being his most notable to date.

When he’s not working, you’ll find Kevin attending Premier League football matches or at the theatre. He particularly enjoys smaller productions where less experienced writers and actors often feature – especially as these often attract internationally recognised actors and producers so they’re great opportunities for celebrity spotting!
