People Spotlight – Meet Client Operations Team Leader, Stefano Salamena
Want to find out more about the people behind peoplevalue?
In our People Spotlight blog series, we’re taking a closer look at some of the individuals who make up peoplevalue’s fun and friendly team. Today, we’re saying hello to Stefano Salamena, our Client Operations Team Leader.
Introducing Stefano Salamena, Client Operations Team Leader
Stefano joined peoplevalue’s Client Operations Team back in 2016. In his current role as Client Operations Team Leader, he works alongside the wider team to produce ad-hoc reports, process data uploads and ensure clients’ queries and requests are resolved. When he’s not working, Stefano likes to play the guitar, meet friends and go for walks in nature and cycle.
What does a typical day look like for you?
The Client Operations team covers a variety of tasks, so I need to ensure that they are assigned and dealt with within our SLA, I produce standard and ad hoc reports, process data uploads, go through internal/external clients’ queries, work alongside other teams to ensure any issues are addressed and resolved, attend meetings with both clients and upper management.
How do you like to start your working day?
I like to have a coffee and do some meditation and physical exercise to set myself up for the day. I’ll then go through Asana and check emails and messages to prioritise tasks and activities.
How did you get into your current job role? Talk about previous roles?
I have been working in the Client Operations team since I joined peoplevalue, so I see my current role as a natural progression of my previous one.
What is your favourite thing about working at peoplevalue?
I love the business culture, based on trust and respect.
What one word would you use to describe peoplevalue’s culture?
Empowering
What do you most enjoy about your job?
I like its variety and the fact that we can always learn something new.
What is your favourite quote?
I really like: “What is essential is invisible to the eye” from the Little Prince. It has many meanings and can be applied to the business world as well.
What is your favourite memory from working at peoplevalue so far?
I have many great memories, maybe my favourite was the first Christmas party I have been to, we were dressed as heroes and villains and shared a few good (and some not so good) moves on the dance floor!
Are there any projects/tasks you’ve worked on that you’re particularly proud of?
I love training people, so I really enjoyed producing and delivering an Excel course with Adam Cole. Sometimes some little knowledge can save us lots of time!
