We are thrilled to announce that peoplevalue and Costa Coffee won the Best use of technology in employee engagement award at the International Engage Awards 2019.

Last night we had the pleasure of attending the International Engage Awards at Westminster Bridge Park Plaza in London, to celebrate excellence in customer and employee engagement strategies. Having been shortlisted for three awards, we were lucky enough to take home the Best use of technology in employee engagement award for our work with Costa Coffee on their reward and recognition programme.

We’ve been working with Costa Coffee for the past five years to develop and deliver their employee reward and recognition scheme, Costa FeelGood. We entered the Engage Awards because through our fantastic partnership, we have established a long-term reward and recognition scheme that has had a truly positive impact on Costa employees and the business as a whole.

Our joint entry was shortlisted for the following three awards:

Best use of innovation in employee engagement

Best use of technology in employee engagement

Best outsourcing partnership

The awards evening, which was hosted by comedian, actor and writer Hugh Dennis, highlighted the fantastic range of customer and employee engagement strategies being delivered by organisations and individuals. This year, they had a record number of 179 finalists across 18 categories, our reward and recognition strategy with Costa Coffee being one of them.

It was an absolute pleasure to attend as a finalist in three different categories, so to win an award on top of that has been the icing on the cake for our business and the reward team at Costa. We are delighted that our work with Costa has been recognised by the Engage Awards as a great example of two businesses coming together to successfully drive employee engagement and customer satisfaction through the use of technology. All of our technology happens in-house by our talented team so this really is a huge achievement for us.
